Why I Paint
Since I was a kid, creativity has been where I feel most free — whether I was sketching, painting or exploring the woods. Painting gives me that same sense of freedom, letting me explore emotions and ideas in a way no other medium does. It’s where I feel most connected — with myself, the world, and others.
Nature has always been my biggest inspiration, reminding me to slow down and notice the beauty, calm, and transformation happening around us. Creating brings me joy and clarity, and I hope my work sparks that same sense of curiosity and wonder in you — whether it’s a quiet moment in nature or a reflection within yourself.

My Story
Growing up in North Carolina, I’ve always been drawn to creativity. My first real taste of it came in elementary school when my artwork ended up in the principal’s office. That early recognition opened my eyes to the power of art to connect and bring joy. From there, I pursued Fine Art at East Carolina University, and my path led me into Graphic Design, Web Design, and UX Design. These fields helped shape my eye for both beauty and function. But at the end of the day, I found myself returning to my first love—fine art—where I feel most at home.
Now, in my home studio, I dive into the world of raw materials, where art is about more than just creating—it’s about connecting. Through each piece, I want to capture the beauty of everyday life and evoke emotions that remind us of our shared human experience. Art for me isn’t just about the finished product—it’s about the connections it helps build and the memories it sparks.

Growth Through Art
My art reflects the journey of turning everyday challenges into moments of growth. Life is full of obstacles, but it’s through these struggles that we find our inner strength. This resilience is captured in each piece, infusing it with a sense of freedom and empowerment. As you explore my work, you’re not just admiring art—you’re connecting with stories of transformation found in nature and ourselves. Each piece invites you to embrace the beauty of life’, the quiet strength of the wild, and the possibilities that come with renewal.

Journeys in Color
Adventure is all around us, often hidden in the everyday moments we might overlook—the quiet corners of my studio, the simple joys of daily life, and the beauty in landscapes, both near and far. Growing up in North Carolina, with its beaches and mountains, shaped my perspective, as did my travels to Italy, Greece, Spain, and Ireland. These experiences opened my eyes to new cultures, but they also deepened my appreciation for the world we share. I create for fellow dreamers, wanderers, and those who find joy in life’s little wonders. Together, let’s connect through art and embrace the adventures waiting in everyday life.
